Best series to study after failing mixed mode

If mixed mode keeps going wrong, the fix is usually to step into a smaller franchise and rebuild your clue reading there. The best series to study first are the ones that give you clear anchors without overwhelming you with too many similar characters.

1. Start with a deep but familiar series

Pick a franchise you already know from the broader anime roster. Familiarity helps you see the clue structure faster, which makes each turn more informative.

2. Choose a series with obvious anchors

Good study series usually contain a few characters that are easy to spot right away. Those anchors let you learn the rest of the pool by contrast instead of by guessing blindly.

3. Compare only one franchise at a time

Jumping between different series keeps the noise high. Focus on one pool long enough to notice which years, hair colors, and eye colors repeat most often.

4. Return to mixed mode after the reset

After a few study sessions, go back to mixed mode and see whether the same series feels easier to spot. That is how the practice path turns into real daily improvement.
